CHRISTIAN SIRIANO
PRE-FALL 2021 COLLECTION
FASHION SHOW CONCEPT PITCH

This collection, designed by Christina Siriano,  is filled with glamorous gowns, each one being good enough to wear at any award show or Met Gala. Most of the gowns featured recycled parts of previous celebrity's outfits such as Ariana Grande and Janelle Monae. Some of his pieces, like the one worn by Monae, are influenced by the cubist artist, Picasso. His design elements include geometric shapes, sharp edges, and contrast. This collection inspired me to create an award show-like event, giving these outfits a chance to walk the red carpet. The geometric shapes and nods to Picasso in his fashion design inspired me to go with a cubist meets Hollywood aesthetic.
